There are many walks around the island and in the National Park. Spend
the day exploring the wonderful flora and fauna in the area. Take the
Elvina Bay walk to your own private rock pool where you can watch the
spectacular birdlife whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the
area looking over Pittwater and over to the ocean beaches or walk the
track from Lovett Bay to Salvation Creek.
You can also explore the ancient Aboriginal site nearby and see their
carvings in the rock.
This is just one of many great walks in the area and we can advise you
on walks to suit your needs.
Kayaking
Why not take out our two man kayak and explore the island from the
water. If the weather is suitable paddle across to the National Park to
picnic and maybe have a swim. It is like being on your own tropical
island.
Cruises
Take a ferry from Palm Beach to Ettalong and Wagstaffe on the Central Coast
with spectacular views of Lion Island, the Hawkesbury and Brisbane
Waters.
OR take a ferry to Bobbin Head…… a scenic two hour trip from Palm Beach
calling at Patonga ( wonderful fish and chips ) , Cottage Point
Restaurant, and then Bobbin Head. Have a walk or lunch at the Marina and
then a trip back to Palm Beach. This is one of the best things to do
when visiting Sydney.
Swimming
Join the locals and have a swim from Tennis Court Wharf or maybe go over
to one of the many sandy beaches in the National Park.
Spa Pool
Start the day or complete your day by relaxing in our massage spa pool.
Just the thing to do before dinner.
Yoga/ Massage
We can arrange for you to have a massage or private Yoga session with
qualified practitioners, who live on the island.
Other Activities
There are two local golf courses nearby, also tennis courts. If you need
a retail fix Mona Vale and nearby Avalon have many unusual and interesting
shops to spend some time browsing.
And if you just feel like being lazy, then you can relax in the garden
with a magazine or your latest book and a cool drink, and let the rest
of the world go by.
